New Build
64- 68 Brighton Road , Worthing , West Sussex , BN11 2EN , United Kingdom
ECE Architecture are delivery architects for a museum, which will be the permanent home for the salvaged hull of Henry VIII's 1545 flagship. The project includes the delicate process of constructing the new building around this culturally significant relic to provide the museum, gallery and exhibition spaces for the vast array of artefacts rescued with the Mary Rose itself. There are in addition new restoration, teaching and café facilities. Throughout the development process ECE Architecture worked in partnership with Warings building contractors, who were constructing the new facility on a design and build basis.
