"dwell design were appointed to undertake the fit-out of a former convenience store to create a high-end restaurant and support spaces for Relentless, a fine dining steak & lobster restaurant. Situated in Port Solent marina the restaurant fit-out has been undertaken to match its picturesque waterfront surroundings. The project has been designed to creatively maximise the space to provide a fine dining experience in the main restaurant area through its carefully chosen finishes, fittings and lighting. The restaurant also comprises a curved ice-cream counter and low-level feature lighting. dwell design’s role encompassed the whole creative process including: concept design, interior design, planning services, and technical design. Building Regulations and tender information and guidance were undertaken to comply with the DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) legislation. Successfully liaising with the management company and landlord’s representatives ensured the smooth project’s transition. dwell design assisted Relentless to realise their concept in this great coastal location. The restaurant opened in April 2015 and is proving a highly popular venue as the sole independent restaurant at Port Solent with great views out to the Solent Marina"
