Burberry Regent Street is the flagship store for this iconic British high fashion brand, hosted in a Grade II Listed Building within the Regents Street Conservation Area. DPA is responsible for the design development and documentation for the store’s refurbishment. Inspired by the building’s original use as a theatre, each room is enveloped in richly coloured full height curtains of differing tones, while the floors are finished with thick pile carpet. At the centre of the store, artist Graham Hudson has created a massive 3-storey installation called ‘Sisyphus Reclined’ - an existential study on life and death.
