This site is currently occupied by the BBC who are expected to be moving to central Cardiff in 2018. The site will be redeveloped for residential use, and Downs Merrifield have been appointed to prepare a Masterplan and sufficient detail for an outline planning application. The site comprises up to 400 new homes, both houses and apartments. The new development considers the need to provide place-making and as such has developed a strategy which creates residential crescents and squares in a mixture of small to medium rise apartments and town houses.
