Creating visual interest and spaces for community interaction was at the heart of the design approach for The Charter Building. Animated breakout areas, designed with nature in mind, encourage serendipitous encounters between tenants whilst simultaneously offering dynamic co-working and meeting areas. The Charter Building is a dramatic and innovative refurbishment of a tired 1980s office building that has brought an entirely new kind of workspace to Uxbridge, West London. The building, which reached practical completion in December 2016 and launched to the market in January 2017, comprises 240,000 sqft of design-led innovative, high specification, contemporary office workspace and will provide a vibrant home to a community of local, national and global businesses.
