The transformation of Thames Tower has been remarkable. From an obsolete 1970s office block, it has been invigorated into an innovative, high sustainable, vibrant, contemporary workplace, attracting progressive companies looking for an uplifting and stimulating environment. Taking inspiration from one of the world's first skyscrapers - Louis Sullivan's Guaranty Building in Buffalo, New York - the original building was stripped back to its frame, extended by four storeys, and re-clad in high quality terracotta, with cues from the surrounding Victorian brick buildings of Reading.
