ARC have managed the Hammersmith Embankment site for many years and sought a refurbishment scheme that created a leading Life Science community in West London, and improved the environment, facilities and amenities for current and future employers. The aim of development was to create a riverside home for science and innovation, re-engage with the surrounding communities through extensions and lifting the ground level to connect directly into the neighbouring Waterfront building and the Thames Path. The Refinery is a leading Life-Sciences development with an emphasis on sustainability, biodiversity and integration with the local community, academic institutions and wider cluster networks.
