DMWR Architects were appointed by Ballymore Properties Ltd in 2005 as executive architects and lead consultant on what was at the time, Europe’s tallest residential development. The project which was completed in 2009 comprises of two residential towers of 50 and 40 storeys linked at lower levels by a mixed use podium building. The towers house 760 luxury apartments ranging from studios and suites to penthouse dwellings. At lower levels a mix of amenity type uses are provided including a Cinema, Restaurant, retail units and a Health Club and Spa. DMWR Architects were the executive architects leading a world renowned consultant team including specialist interior designers KCA and Johnson Naylor. The construction works on the £220m scheme commenced in November 2005 and completed in April 2009. The development has already changed the face of residential living in London and has set a new standard in high rise design quality.
