DLA Architects were engaged by the client to extend an existing 2 storey brick and metal faced office building to provide additional floor space on the client's existing campus site. The design has taken the cue from the existing architecture, utilising materials to match the existing and extending the building in the same architectural style to minimise complication through the planning process in line with the client's tight timescales. The design blends seamlessly with the existing building and an integrated solution to the client brief has been achieved meeting BREEAM Excellent standard in the process.
