Alteration to existing property, New Build, Within a Conservation Area
Station Parade is a residential scheme consisting of 11 luxury apartments and involved the renovation of an existing building and the construction of an adjacent new-build element. The design of the new build element compliments the stunning late Victorian existing building, which uses its large openings to create some outstanding internal spaces filled with natural light. The scheme acts as an excellent addition to Harrogate Town centre. A huge amount of work was done externally to achieve such a high-quality finish on the final building. Existing stonework was cleaned, re-aligned and re-pointed and existing windows were replaced with brand new bespoke windows to match the existing openings. Brand new roof dormers sit on a brand new slate roof, and the entire building is surrounded by re-worked landscaping throughout the site. Internal works were equally as considerable, with new layouts throughout the existing building. These new layouts also included brand new fixtures and fittings, kitchens, bathrooms and floor finishes throughout.
