The brief for 2 low-rise dwellings behind the Oxfordshire village high street aimed to provide a neighbourly and highly sustainable design. The pair of prefabricated timber-frame bungalows utilise air-source-heat-pumps, PV arrays and good airtightness to reduce embodied and operational carbon emissions. The high street parade of shops were extended, responding to the growing village needs, with rapid EV charge points provided.
