To support the continued growth of Leeds City College, DB3 partnered with PML to deliver a new three storey modular teaching building at the Printworks Campus. Designed around the needs of students and teaching staff, the building provides modern, flexible learning spaces and was delivered using modular construction. A key part of the design process was extensive engagement with the college's teaching staff and end users. Through a series of workshops, DB3 developed a building that responds directly to the needs of both students and educators, ensuring the spaces support a wide range of teaching and learning activities. Throughout RIBA Stages 1 to 6, DB3 worked closely with the client, design team and manufacturing partners to guide the project from concept through to completion. The completed building provides high quality educational accommodation, including teaching spaces, classrooms, specialist laboratories, flexible learning facilities and undercroft parking.
