ASI is partnering with some of London’s most respected surgeons to create a suite of five clinics, one per floor. The project comprises a new private diagnostic, surgical and consulting facility within an existing 8 storey office building, 1-2 Welbeck Street as shown opposite. Each clinic has been planned to deliver a very high quality experience for the particular patient group who will use each floor. The patient experience has been supported by an approach to the interior design which is refreshing and far removed from a typical healthcare facility. The sensitive use of natural light, natural materials and soft curves compliment a design underpinned by a flexible kit of parts where, for example, consulting rooms, procedure rooms and patient ‘pods’ have been developed to a high quality and repeated throughout all of the clinics. Each clinic floor is typically split into three zones; 1. Reception and waiting. 2. Patient ‘pod’ and associated support facilities/ or consulting and treatment rooms. 3. Clinical spaces comprising of procedure rooms or theatres with associated clinical support facilities. Patients/ visitors will be accompanied by staff during their time at the facility, guiding them from one place to the next, providing help and support throughout procedures.
