The boat club, based on the Regents canal in Hackney, London, approached David Ford Architects to expand their existing facilities. The 15 year old existing ' A' frame club house was externally renewed, whilst the interior was stripped out and reconfigured to include a new kitchen, low level storage and a wheelchair accessible shower room. A new single storey building adjacent to, and linked to, the existing club house provides new changing facilities. The external materials are cedar boarding, powder coated aluminium and coloured plywood.
