Charlton House is a Grade II listed family house within the Bath Conservation Area and the World Heritage Site. The 1950 and 60’s had not been kind to the building, which was originally planned in a Victorian Villa style, but subsequently suffered ad hoc additions. The Practice was instructed to review the floor plan and provide the house with a better relationship to the enclosed garden, whilst at the same time creating a light and airy core to the deep plan, all to provide the new owners with a house for the family for the foreseeable future.
