A&A Laboratory is part of the Commerce Park in Frome. Commerce Park is a business park capable of providing 700,000 sq ft of mixed use accommodation on a site of 64 acres, with planning consent for a variety of uses and the ability to accommodate large and small occupiers. The site is prominently located fronting the A361 to the north east of Frome town centre. Direct access into the park is from a new roundabout enabling the development to accommodate a variety of uses. The master plan for the site provides zones for specific activities; there is an Office park (see the 'New Courtyard Offices' project), Design and Build units, a Trade and an Enterprise Zone. With Prospect Land as the developer and David Brain Partnership's client, the practice has designed units of varying sizes and to suit different briefs. Subsequently the practice has been novated to provide design services for end users to provide premises with specific manufacturing facilities.
