Davenport Architecture were instructed to prepare designs for a bespoke low carbon house in a small Cheshire woodland. The site is within the greenbelt and poses difficult planning restrictions. The design has been developed has a highly sustainable and low carbon building using a number of renewable technologies and clever passive design solutions. The house will be partly buried to protect views from the surrounding countryside and will create new sub-terranean ecological habitats.
