Two separate clients. Client one being a self-build contractor, Client two being a private client wanting a custom home. As custom home Architects this project really drew on our expertise. Residential architecture comes in many forms. The way we design takes into consideration many local characteristics. In this location, providing two large family properties (a 5 bed and a 6 bed) was perfect. These high end custom designed homes incorporated the client’s needs and aspirations. The ability to achieve this is embedded within our processes, our guidance and promotion of a close understanding between the Client and Architect. Both houses were completed in a Georgian style. Our refined design extended to all aspect of the project. On the ground floor, large open plan spaces allow for a range of different functions and provide the flexibility & adaptability that is essential for modern living trends. There are many contemporary features such as window seats, kitchen islands and bi-folding doors opening up to the expansive gardens. A bespoke oak staircase leads you upstairs to a series of large and character-filled bedrooms with vaulted ceilings, rooflights and Juliet balconies.
