Terwick Wood Terwick wood is a bespoke house with a floor area of approximately 540 square metres plus out buildings on a site of 5 acres. It was built for private clients on a site in West Sussex, The project was designed by Trevor Dannatt and was completed by the office in late 2010. The house replaces an earlier 20th Century structure on the site. it is set at the edge of a wooded area and commands striking views of the South downs across a meadow and low valley. The clients were involved closely in the project throughout its development and the final form is very much a combination of Trevor’s mastery of space and light ant their tastes. The house is designed to meet the code for sustainable homes level 4. It has super insulated thick walls wood pellet boiler, heat recovery ventilation system, and takes water form a well on the site that is topped up when necessary by the mains. The house is generally open plan it has six bedrooms and four bathrooms with many striking features including the salon, and library with views over the valley, the sitting room with feature fire place looking into the adjacent wood and open plan kitchen and dining are a that open out onto a covered terrace with adjacent pool deck.
