The owners of a Victorian detached house in a leafy South Manchester suburb were looking for ideas to reconfigure the rear of a their property into a flexible family space with better connections to the garden and improved links between kitchen and living areas. The feasibility study illustrated various options, ranging from minimal interventions to a response closest to the requirements of the brief, offered some inspiration for finishes and provided a basic outline of works required to start initial conversations with builders or suppliers.
