The brief was to create a 21st Century convent, nursing and elderly care home which replaced an existing Victorian building which was no longer fit for purpose. An internal "street" provides communal spaces for the 34 care residents, independent living residents and 20 on-site sisters and connects 4 separate wings of the building, composed as a 4 storey "serpentine" form within maintained 18th Century parkland.
