The proposed development retains all of the character of the existing building and its listed elements, whilst providing a design which is both environmentally beneficial and sensitive to its setting. The new development not only provides a high standard of design, but also incorporates the client’s vision of building a net zero carbon house integrating sustainable construction measures, such as straw bale construction.
