The Practice was appointed as architects by the contractor on a Design and Build Scheme basis to provide services inclusive of full planning approval consent, building regulations approval and detail design construction drawings for a two storey purpose designed office accommodation block for their client Parker Software enabling them to relocate their growing software development and sales business from their existing premises in Stoke. The site is located on Victoria Business Park, an area formerly used for open cast coal extraction forming part of a Local Authority Regeneration Project following extensive remedial ground works, stabilisation and remodelling to create a contemporary Industrial Park. The proposed building has been designed with a symmetrical low pitched roof and generous eaves overhang to the building perimeter, being simple in form and layout with articulation to the principal entrance elevation.
