The existing single storey stone cottage was extended with a contemporary single storey extension with slate roof and cedar cladding to provide improved visitor and display facilities. A fully glazed double height entrance foyer allowed views to the Lord of the Isles site while improved facilities of disabled toilet and kitchen provided an attractive visitor experience resulting in a substantial increase in numbers attending during both peak and off season holiday periods in this sensitive and remote location near Ballygrant.
