Connor Ferris Architects delivered a full sustainable redesign and extension of a detached family home in West Mersea, Essex. Appointed to transform the layout and energy performance of the property, we reconfigured the internal spaces, introduced natural light through large glazed openings, and extended to the rear to create an open-plan living space. The design prioritised energy efficiency, using breathable materials, improved insulation, and low-carbon detailing.
