A double fronted Victorian house in the heart of Wimbledon, London that was tired and worn out and needed full refurbishment and modernisation to suite a growing family. The existing basement was excavated deeper and 2 light wells were added to the front elevation to create a family TV room, play room and wine store. At ground floor the original front reception rooms were retained, with a grand open plan rear extension extending out towards the newly landscaped garden and across the full width of the house. The bedroom and bathroom accommodation on the first and second floor was striped back to original structure, reconfigured and finished to an exceptionally high specification.
