A detached Victorian villa in Wimbledon London, that over the years had multiple extensions tacked on which made the layout of the house difficult to use. The works included replacing the main roof with a steel frame that allowed a clear span space to accommodate 2 new bedroom and a further bathroom. At ground floor the rear of the house was extended in 2 parts: a traditional brick style extension with timber French doors onto a patio and a more contemporary open plan extension finished in smooth white rendering, large format aluminium doors and brise soleil framing the opening.
