The Old Vicarage is a Victorian vicarage with outbuildings that was substantially remodelled for a private client. Works included newly dug wine cellars and plant space, and opening up of the house to give a modern feel whilst retaining a sense of character that the historic fabric exuded. The outbuildings were developed and converted to house pool support space, garaging, and additional accommodation, and extensive garden landscaping was undertaken. Colony Architects took the project from initial feasibility work, through design sketches and planning, providing technical drawings and building regulations approval. We administered the building contract and made sure the project was delivered on budget and in time for the client's 50th birthday party.
