Colony gained consent in 2016 for a new house which was built on part of this plot and subsequently worked with stakeholders and Wokingham council to design and gain consent for a second house. The site is a tricky shape and the ecological and arboricultural constraints were significant. Colony were able to design a new house which worked within these parameters, giving a woodland feel to the house and making the most of the fantastic oaks that take up most of the site. This is a family home for nature lovers - but in a great location in Woodley, close to modern conveniences and infrastructure. A truly sustainable dwelling.
