Completed in the summer of 2025, the garden room is the principal element of alterations to a former farmhouse. Replacing an older extension the garden room sits on the terrace to the south west side of the house, sheltered from the weather by existing stones walls. The terrace has been lowered to enable the garden room to be at the same level as the kitchen, which has been opened up to the extension to form one large space running right through the house. With large glass sliding doors, windows running along the exposed elevations to a frameless corner window and rooflights at the junction with the house, the zinc roofed garden room and kitchen are flooded with light and have stunning views of the landscape.
