A residential refurbishment of the upper floors of a locally listed townhouse within the Duncan Terrace / Colebrooke Row Conservation area of Islington. The project revitalises the existing property to meet the needs of the Client with the full refurbishment of the upper two floors and the creation of a new roof terrace with panoramic views of central London accessed via a delicate contemporary cantilevered steel stair and large opening rooflight. Natural materials are used throughout with a limited palette of Douglas Fir, marble, terrazzo and black painted steel making up the majority of surfaces.
