Paul Cayford is an experienced RIBA Client Adviser, having performed this role for the BBC, and London Boroughs of Lambeth & Ealing. Paul was appointed by the London Borough of Ealing to perform the briefing, design development and procurement process for 18 schools within the £350 million Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme. Two new amazing schools were constructed, and five others were fully briefed before the programme was cancelled. Dormers Wells High School, a new-build (illustrated, with architects Nicholas Hare) opened in 2012, and has performed outstandingly ever since. In addition the existing Cardinal Wiseman School was comprehensively rebuilt and expanded, remaining open during construction, with the final phases completed in 2014.
