The Richmond Homes Partnership (Housing Association) has embarked on an ambitious project to retrofit their post-war prefabricated concrete frame homes, with funding from the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) Wave 2.2. Cayford is pleased to support this initiative in the role of Retrofit Designer under PAS 2035 - this is a testament to our commitment to enhancing energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions within the UK’s social housing stock. Funded social housing retrofit requires the minimum Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) band C. This not only supports our environmental goals but also significantly improves the living conditions and well-being of social housing tenants. In compliance with the PAS 2035 standards, our retrofitting projects meet the highest quality of workmanship and energy efficiency.
