This new build school project was to amalgamate Bamber Bridge Methodist Church Priory School with St Saviors Church of England School. The project for a new 1 Form Entry, comprises classrooms from Reception through to Year 6, with School Hall, Library, Specialist Subject Faculties and administration suite, together with a multi-use Community Hall with all associated facilities. Cassidy + Ashton achieved high praise off the DfES for the scheme, who commented that, “In architectural terms, the massing, proportions and materials choice all contribute towards a school design which is both stimulating and visually very competently handled”.
