This project was a Pilot Scheme for Knowsley Housing Trust that improved the energy performance of an existing block of two houses and 4 flats resulting in an 80% Carbon reduction This was achieved utilising a new house wrap system developed in partnership with StoVentec to eliminate cold bridges down to foundation level as well as providing and extremely airtight solution. BYA provided a ‘one stop shop’ solution undertaking the roles of architects, Employers Agent, CDMC and Eco Assessors. The pilot scheme is now being extended across KHT’s existing housing stock.
