A new four storey town house in the heart of a Conservation Area, bounded on two sides by Listed Buildings and set at the end of the grounds of Sir Peter and Lady Wakefield's home. Having tried for some twenty years with various architects the family have only now received planning permission and listed building consent having taken on Leigh Brooks in November 2002. The project involves the complete excavation of the site to provide a full basement below the entire plot to maximise accommodation within this tightly constrained site while also ensuring that the bulk and massing of the building is sympathetic with the adjoining properties.
