Burgess Architects won an invited competition to design a new community cabin for the Friends of Feltham Green and Hounslow Council. The cabin will sit adjacent to the beautiful Feltham Green Park next to the busy high street. The proposal sits within the Feltham Green Conservation Area, so it was important that our design was sensitive to the historic setting whilst also being visible to the whole community. The distinctive roof form and warm heritage colours means the cabin will be seen from far and wide, a marker for people to come and see what’s going on and get involved.
