About the practice

In March 2019, after three years working with one another, Chris Bulmer and Tim Counter established Bulmer + Counter Architects. We have a passion for creating architecture which is not only beautiful but also functional. We understand that no two projects are alike; and it is well thought-out design based on the idiosyncrasies of each Client’s brief, site and context which often make a project great. A variety of personal and professional experience is brought into every project with the aim of creating spaces that are innovative, unique and of exceptional quality. We operate from two studios located in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, covering projects in London and the Home Counties.
