Substantial extension to existing Norfolk Farmhouse. The intent was to use differing materials help ‘elementalise’ the façade and to provide a subtle differentiation, across the house as a whole. The design of the extension has been driven by its context and how the façade relates to the garden has been of principal consideration. The design has not sought to be outlandishly contemporary, rather to express a recognisable form in a more modern manner. We provided a full architectural service for the project. This project was completed in spring 2021.
