Planning permission was received from Medway Council on behalf of a private client for a single storey rear extension garage conversion, and extensive internal alterations for their family home. The extension reorganises the ground floor to provide a large open-plan family living /dining area, which opens out to garden. Amazing to see this in the morning with light streaming in through the rooflights and doors. The vaulted ceiling adds drama and sense of grandeur to the open plan space. This east facing extension replaced a former conservatory that was never really useable, too cold in winter, too hot in summer!
