Originally a former agricultural barn, which had become redundant, the proposed scheme sought to achieve planning approval for a change of use to residential under the Class Q category of Schedule 2, Part 3 of The Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015. brp architects were appointed to provide architectural services from inception through to completion. This included developing the preliminary concept scheme design alongside the Client and securing the necessary planning approval and the change of use. Beyond the planning stages, brp were involved in the preparation of the working drawing package as well as providing on-site assistance to the Contractor as and when required.
