Total Refurbishment and conversion of a grade 2 listed half timbered thatched tithe barn into offices. Much of the original barn had to be demolished with a large proportion of the sundry oak framing including several of the cruck frames being replaced with newly sawn green oak timbers with pegged mortice and tenon joints. The complex issues of realising a modern office environment within a historic framework were handled sensitively and subsequently recognised by a LJCC craftsmanship award in 1990
