A modern two-storey extension within the Chilterns AONB and restricted by permissible volume increases of the Green Belt. The new addition was designed to respond to the existing terrain of the site and capture views to the east over Chawley Wood. Internal alterations to the existing bungalow improved bedrooms and circulation spaces, with a large open-plan kitchen and dining space separated by a level change to the new extension. The insertion of photovoltaic panels and smart systems provide a source of renewable energy.
