Brock Carmichael worked with Plus Dane and Knowsley Borough Council on the development of 43 new homes, with a mix of family housing, 8 one bedroom apartments and 6 two bedroom bungalows. These new, high quality homes with frontages give a stronger sense of community, urban cohesion and a better sense of place, with improved connections to Northwood Forrest Hills and its fishing lake. Detailing references existing housing there but interprets this in a more contemporary manner, with simple detail and a palette of good quality materials leading to a complementary but strong sense of individual character to the new homes. Working with main contractors Galliford Try, work began on site in January and finished in 2020.
