Conversion and refurbishment of a Grade II Listed farmhouse and 16-19th century barns which until 1976 had been part of a garden centre. The five bedroom listed farmhouse could only be renovated but contemporary extensions were added to the barns to produce five houses with two and three bedrooms. After collaboration with Stevenage Borough Council’s Conservation Consultant, Planning and Listed Building Consents were obtained in 2012. First occupation was in 2015. Planning approval was also obtained for 64 houses and apartments on part of the original garden centre for Charles Church.
