This will be a state-of-the-art facility to promote collaboration and innovation across services and allowing integration of staff and shared facilities. The Campus will comprise Offices, Forensic Laboratories, specialist operations requirements and Support buildings. It is proposed that the project, which is unique in the UK, will start on site early 2010 and be complete by March 2012. The facility will bring together the Scottish Crime and Drug Enforcement Agency (SCDEA), Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA), Her Majestyʼs Revenue and Customs (HMRC), Scottish Police Services Authority Forensics Services (SPSA), Crown Office Proculator Fiscal service (COPS) and other agencies into a single campus. The campus incorporates specialist security requirements and all members of the team are cleared to baseline standard with Key memberscleared to CTC standard (counter Terrorist Check).
