This is a 1930s thatched house with painted brick. We extended & fully refurbished the property. We consulted with experienced thatches on this project for both reasons of fire & damage to thatch of lower roofs, hence the rear extensions are tiled. New kitchen, utility room, bedrooms walk in ward robe, new & refurbished en-suites & bathrooms. Over head windows where we could. Underfloor heating, new family room. New aluminium windows throughout. The proposals were intended to be sympathetic & fully in keeping with the existing property.
