The site, set in the scenic area near Hungerford, was once a dairy works comprising a total of 3no. derelict concrete outbuildings. The proposal is to demolish all the outbuildings & build a single detached dwelling in the Georgian style to resonate with the surrounding dwellings in the area. The six bedroom dwelling proposal was much valued following the local objection to the previous application of an international style post-modernist dwelling. The site also comprises a ?? acre meadow across the road on which sits a pond to assist in the collection of excess rainwater. The North-East, South-West orientation of the house on the site allows the views and gardens to be fully appreciated from every window and allows the occupants to take advantage of the sunlight throughout the day.
