Alteration to existing property
Remodelling and refurbishment of the former Minchenden School buildings to provide secondary autism provision for 100 pupils. The buildings located within the curtilage of the existing Grade II* listed Southgate House, include the Farbey Building constructed circa 1930 as a purpose built two-storey secondary school, the Mews Building constructed circa 1800 and the open-sided Workshop Building constructed circa 1995. The buildings combine as a holistic autism provision with facilities including rebound therapy, sensory integration, life and skills and creative arts within an historic site context.
