Parquesur is an existing shopping centre which serves the residential district of Leganes, south of Madrid. It is co-owned by the locally based retail developer Rodamco-Espana, who intend to carry out a major refurbishment and create approximately 400,000 sq ft of new retail and leisure facilities. The scheme will be formed around an extension to the existing lake with terraces for open air dining, taking full advantage of this unique feature. The new extension will be a valuable addition to the centre and help Parquesur maintain its position as the premium shopping location in Leganes. Benoy’s role is to act as lead designer & retail consultant.
